As with many sectors, IT Support is a highly competitive market and as such requires constant attention to ensure the client is getting the most from their Google AdWords spend.
Initially the campaigns were inherited from a competitor digital marketing agency, on first glance the campaigns were in reasonable condition. However, there was huge potential when it was discovered during an initial audit that no conversion tracking was being utilised. This lack of tracking meant that attributing phone calls or completed forms was impossible and later revealed that some areas of the campaigns were under-performing.
The brief was to increase the amount of enquiries from small businesses in Essex and Kent. We set to work by liaising with the incumbent web developer to ensure that forms were being tracked. The phone number was switched to a Google Forwarding Number for advanced tracking – after a period of time the campaigns were restructured, new keywords introduced and ads are continuously being A/B split tested. BING Ads has been introduced to ensure the client is getting maximum exposure.
A Google Business listing profile was comprehensively completed to ensure maximum exposure when other local companies are searching for IT Support.
